Pennies for Patients

On Monday we began our Pennies for Patients charity fundraiser. Pennies for Patients is an annual fundraiser where the students can bring in change to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All money raised will be donated to help find cures for blood diseases/cancers. Our class has jumped off to a great start. On Monday we collected $9 in pennies. Today we collected $8.10 in nickels. The students are really excited about the prospect of winning a pizza party if we bring in the most money.
