11 days and counting . . .

It's hard to believe that we have finished two weeks of school. We have had a wonderful week. We are starting to get into our daily routines and have been working hard. Today during Writer's Workshop, we practiced our first day of sharing knee-to-knee eye-to-eye. During knee-to-knee eye-to-eye the students find a buddy and they each take turns sharing what they have written for the day. This gives every child an opportunity to share what they have worked very hard on. This quickly became a favorite of my students last year and I am guessing it will be a favorite this year.
