Saturday, September 26th was Johnny Appleseed's birthday. This past week we celebrated by studying him and apples. On Friday we were able to taste several different apple items. We tasted apple butter, apple sauce, red apples, green apples, yellow apples, dried apples, apple juice, and apple bread. We also had dip for our apples, biscuits, and sourdough bread to go with it. We had a GREAT time and many of us learned that we loved apple butter. A BIG thanks to the parents who sent items in for us. We had a wonderful time!
