It's Friday!!!

Wow. . . did we have a busy day. I hope your child came home and told you about all the fun we had. We started the morning by using our graphing skills to graph M & M's!



After graphing the M & M's, we wrapped up our study on nouns by cutting pictures of people, places, things, and animals from magazines. We then glued them on giant letters that spell N-O-U-N.


We also went to the Media Center for our lesson with Mrs. Massey. We talked about lines of symmetry and painted butterflies.

We finished our day with our Box Top celebration. Our class brought in the most Box Top points for the month of August, therefore we were treated to a movie, popcorn, and coke. Thanks for sending in those points! Thanks Coach for the snacks!



Even after all of that excitement, we love to read so much that several students wanted to read their books, take a test, and go to the library during the movie:).
